Ground Beef Vegatables

This is one of my lazy and cheap meal haha! You can make this meal in 30 minutes or less. It's simply ground beef. peas, carrots, and potatos. You can use mix vegetables or whatever you please. My hubby and kids LOVE this meal. I know for a fact when I do make this there is NO leftovers =) Hope you enjoy this recipe.


Things you will need
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion
2 TB crushed garlic or 3 cloves chopped
2 small potatos
1 15oz tomato sauce
1/2 - 1 cup frozen peas and carrots

NOT IN PHOTO/OPTIONAL
oil
black pepper
garlic powder
sugar
ketchup

First you will need to cut up your vegetables. Chop up you potatos.

Then chop your onions!

It's cooking time!!! Heat your pan to medium high.

Get those bad boys in...I mean, onions LOL!! I love onions!

Then add the garlic. I just love the smell of onions and garlic cooking up!

Add your ground beef. Now you can season this the way you like. I don't do much salt so I just add pepper and garlic powder but you can add whatever you desire.

I know there is already garlic but like I said I love me some garlic =)

 After you ground the beef and crumble it to small pieces add the potato.

After 5-7 mins of cooking potatos should be soft and cooked then you add your frozen peas and carrots.

About 3-4 minutes add the tomato sauce. You DONT have to use italian herb tomato sauce. That's all I had! You can use any type of tomato sauce.

* You DONT have to do this part also.
I like to add about a TBs of sugar so it gives a little sweetness and it wont be so tangy!

I also like to add a little ketchup.

Let it simmer for about 5-7 mins or more so all the flavors can distribute.
HERE YOU GO, my Ground Beef and Vegetables.
Get your bowl of rice and you are ready to eat.
